that keeps you 'pressing on',
Yes, that keeps you going
& helps you 'sing a song'!
That Life of 'CHRIST' within you,
springing 'Hope' within your veins,
As you yield your 'all'
giving to 'God' ~ your reigns!
Free reign to do as He wishes
in your life today,
Walking along 'beside' Him
seeking Him as you pray:
"Not my will, dear Lord
but Thine be done just now,
Help me, Holy Spirit
for to 'Thee' I bow.
Lead me on that Path
so that I can 'grow',
Sweeter & kinder & more 'loving'
every where I go!
For without You I am helpless
lost, undone & sad,
Caring less about others
or even about being 'bad'.
Open up my heart
& let me see Your Way,
Keep me in Your Will
& help me not to stray.
Then, I can go 'gladly'
wherever You are leading,
