Life will surely pass you by
And you will only ‘sit & sigh’,
If all you do is ‘resist’
And shake at God your fist!
Resisting is so easy
yet hard to understand,
Why we ‘turn away’ from God
when He wants to take our hand.
He Loves us, oh so much
& wants to comfort & direct us,
But, we’ll have none of it
& only say, “He is unjust!”.
We believe old Satan’s lie *
when he tells us, “God’s the cause”,
But the cause of all the world’s troubles
is the one who wants you to ‘pause’.
To pause & ‘wait’
& not CHOOSE CHRIST,
The One & Only
‘real’ Sacrifice!
He Sacrificed His Life for you
His Justice is supreme, *
Not like this world we live in *
but Holy, Pure & Clean! *
Immortality we will gain
if we wear His Holy Name,
By letting Him live His Life in us
we will never be the same.
So ‘STOP resisting’
& COME ~ at last,
So Christ can
wipe away your past!
Free ‘forever’
from sin & shame,
ABLE to wear
His Precious Name!
